My father recently passed away. He has a Parker Brothers shotgun that was given to him by his cousin who was with the initial allied forces that entered Tokyo towards the end of the war. The story is that this gun was used by japanese to guard allied pow's in Japan. On the buttstock is stamped a 4 digit "inventory" number precided by a japanese symbol/marking. Im curious about any information anyone might have, There are pictures on Picasa but I don't know how to link to them except by email.Thanks.

There are FAQ's in the forum (top of this page) and in the www.parkerguns.org (left side) that will help you upload the pictures. You will need to click the "Go Advanced" to do this and the pictures will need to be sized to something less than the max size this forum allows. See both FAQ's; I hope that helps.

If you uploaded them to the web using PICASA and the world is allowed to view them, you could post the path to them in PICASA and we could see them there?
