"Ivory" bead replacements

I have a nice Parker that someone put some awful twin beads on and I'd like to replace them with something that looks like what might have been available in 1921. Any recommendations for good imitation ivory beads (or if one might find the real thing somewhere)?

I bought an original Lyman front and mid bead from PGCA member Scott Smith. He get's them and sells them from time to time. Send him a PM of what your looking for.

NECG sells a "mastodon" bead which is the right size for the front bead.

Since this came up, Ill ask a question i've been wondering. How do you remove an ivory bead without destroying it? To reblue, or degrease the barrels or whatever, especially if the threads were maybe super glued.

They should be considered “not removable”.

Ivory beads will usually survive rust bluing. They may develop some light cracks and darken some, but as long as you are careful in your polishing around them, they make it theough the process. Small mod beads can be more problematic.
