I bought a pretty nice EH 10 gauge with a fishtail lever, perfect bores inside, stock is gorgeous, full length to a DHBP, just a nice old gun but the top lever spring is broken. I can make one but before I jump through those loops just wondered if anyone is making them commercially? Jerry

I believe Dixie gun works is making them. I have heard they require alot of hand filing to fit them.
Try their web site.

Yes sir, just purchased 3 of them. I'm not a fan of making springs, I can do it and I've had pretty good luck with make a spring a spring that holds compression but it's a pain. I'd rather be working on stocks than filing away on metal! Thank you for your help, Jerry

Jerry,
I have used the Dixie gun works springs and the ones that Galazan sells. I believe they are the same spring or really close. There is a lot of hand filing that needs to be done to get them down to the proper dimensions. Be very careful that you don't do too short on the shorter of the two ends. If you do the top lever will go over a little too far and stay over. It is a good idea to purchase a few of them incase of overfiling. It is also nice to have a few laying around. I am sure you will need another one soon.

Good luck
