Kind of an impromptu get together with four Lefever shooters at Rock Mountain today, getting in some practice for the upcoming Northeast SxS (Hausmann's).
First pic, left to right .... two H Grade 30" guns, a 32" G Grade straight gripper, and a G Grade/Ejector 30". All 12 gauge and with composite barrels.
Second and third pics show some detail on my G/E 30". She's choked 1/2 and 3/4 (Mod and I-Mod) and was shooting reloads in Gun Club hulls with 7/8 ounce of 8's at about 1125 speed. Worked well indeed.

Frank, would you be able to share your load data? I've been using AA Lite for 7/8 oz loads around 1125, a very nice, soft shooting load. Unfortunately I'm down to my last 1 1/2 lb of AA Lite and it has been discontinued.

Harold, sorry I won't share exact reloading data on the internet but will be happy to talk with you in person next weekend at Hausmann's Northeast SxS. For now ..... the 12-gauge 7/8 ounce loading is one I use for almost all my clays shooting except for the longest birds at serious shoots.
Remington Gun Club or STS hulls, Cheddite primer, CB 0178-12 gray wad and 7/8 ounce of 7-1/2s or 8's. Powder is my favorite, Alliant E3, and my charge is extrapolated DOWN by 4 (four) MEC powder bushing numbers from the load that Alliant shows at 1250 speed and 7655 psi. I estimate it at 1125 speed and of course lower pressure and have shot many thousands of these reloads for clays in all manner of my 12-gauge guns. Nice lighter load and the speed is sufficient for most any long birds on the course. I will say though that I strongly favor tightly choked guns for clays shooting.

We had a very nice Lefever 12 gauge 32” no safety , straight grip , high stocked I assume flyer/trap gun . I deliberated on that one awhile and a friend ended up getting it .

Yep. 15gr Extra Lite in a 3/4oz load is amazing.
