I have an opportunity to pick up a Parker with Viskers barrels. What would be a good price? It was from 1878 by serial number.

A hammer gun with vickers barrels? I have seen plenty of hammerless guns rebarreled by vickers. But never a hammer gun. Not that they did not do them. I just have not seen one.
The value of the gun lies in it being a shooter. The overall condition and quality of the work would be the major factor. A fluid steel hammer gun is a great thing.

I once had a vickers rebarreled PH. It was a great shooter. I think I paid $600 for it and sold it a couple years later for $900. And that was about 8-9 years ago.
