If any of you are interested there is a Hornady 366 16 gauge for sale on ebay. It comes with additional parts to convert to 28 gauge. I use my 366 16 gauge regularly and have been told the last run of Hornady 366 presses was in 1993
(mine was made in 1993).

Mine is set-up for for 2 1/2 inch shells and works wonderfully.

PS: I have no association with this listing only making you aware of it's existence.

That seems stout to me . You can get a nice new PW for a bit more and parts are readily available .

I totally agree prices on reloading presses and components are outrageous. I can't imagine the expense of outfitting my reloading equipment and all the components in the current pricing situation and I personally don't believe they are going down anytime soon.
New Hornady 366 is approximately $ 1,750 and the heads for each additional gauge is about $ 650.
I wouldn't pay $ 1,000 but in today's market it's reasonable.

I didn’t realize the 366 was still being manufactured . With that being the case the $800 sounds a bit better .

I know parts for 366s are readily available. I use the old 266s, not made in many years. Have 4 of them, one for each gauge I shoot including one in 10 ga, never produced. A lot of the parts from a 366 work in the 266s and I have purchased a number of items in the last few years directly from Hornady. Nice folks to do business with.
