Anyone gonna be at the Baltimore Gunshow next weekend (March 19th and 20th) . I'll be there I'm sure all day saturday and sudays still up in the air !
I'd like to possibly meet a person or two here thats up on Parker barrel dimensions at the show !
I have a 1911 GH 16 gauge damascus barreled gun that I wanna ascertain if the barrels have been cut or not ! They measure 27" . However they look good from the way the ribs match up etc and they are gauging IC/M or skeet 1 and skeet 2 .
Anyway if someone is going to be there that might be able to shed some light let me know and I'll drag the old gun along as I don't plan to bring much this trip .

Craig, I will be there with Kevin. What is the serial number of your gun? It may be listed in the Serialization Book which will determine the original barrel length. You will love Kevin's educational display this year.

Craig: Sorry, your gun is not in "THE BOOK" Do a search and see if there is info available for a letter.

Although information on your gun is not available through the Serialization Book, the PGCA has information on your serial number. It would be to your advantage to order a PGCA research letter on your gun to determine the original purchaser and the original length of the barrels. Good luck.

Kevin's display will not include any "big" hammerless Parkers, but you may see such a gun somewhere in the show.

This will be my second year at Baltimore !
Last year we were there more for selling and getting some parts !
This year I don't really have anything to move , so it'll be more of an informative trip !
Hoepfully I'll be able to put some time into perusing Parker's , English/Euro doubles and possibly 1861 Springfields and 1861 contract muskets !
To be honest I haven't fooled with any of our Parkers in maybe 5 years . But after getting my grnadfathers W.C. Scott 10 gauge going this past hunting season it got me intrested in this damascus Parker . Worse come to worse it'll make me a nice dove/skeet gun ! Perhaps even a little sporting clays !
