Hello All-

The BOD of the PGCA met last night and we have confirmed that the PGCA will be sharing a tent with the L.C. Smith Collectors at the Southern SXS in Sanford. The PGCA will have several tables available for members to display Parker Guns.

The themes for this display will be two fold:

Long barrelled guns
Guns with provenance - or "well owned" guns- those owned by famous shooters, or other interesting historical figures.

Please contact me via PM on this site to reserve space at the tables we have available. We are all looking forward to seeing some wonderful long barrelled and historical pieces!

Josh, someone on some forum, maybe this one, stated that the Parker and Smith displays would be adjacent to the Challenge area rather than in the main tents. What is the true story. Thanks. See you tomorrow.

Bill, from what I've read the PGCA & LCSCA tent will be at the entrance to the "Dove Field" wherever that is. It has been a few years since Kathy and I went for three or four years straight so things there have changed and I only remember how it was set up in '07

Many thanks to the PGCA members who loaned their guns for the display tent. The 8 gauge 40 1/2" barreled 22 pound monster was "de bomb". as they say. The 3-frame 36" 12 gauge would be the ultimate Challenge Cup shooter. Great guns and great folks. Beautiful weekend.

I wish to extend a personal "THANK YOU!" to all those that shared their prized Parkers with the public this weekend. We had some wonderful guns on display and it was a treat. These events dont happen without members who step up to the plate and share great guns for us to enjoy. Thank you to all those that participated!

Our next event, the Annual Meeting, is likely to include some wonderful "C" grade guns. I am really looking forward to it!
