Hunting camp with a tired dog, doesn't get any better

Nellie is one tired pup, she has been going hard since October 1st. Many days chasing grouse and ducks. Tomorrow morning out for state released pheasants and more ducks on Saturday.

We all live for "feathered lightning and pink dawns"regardless of the game birds we shoot for beloved canine companions. Bird dogs make our short time circling the sun complete in my mind.
