Does any member know if parker guns had a UK retailer like holland and holland
I think thay use to sell winchester in the 1920-1930s this could explain how my parker vhe came to be in England. The other theory is it came over when
the US came over to England in ww11? or was it USA only.

Parkers were sent all over the world by the manufacturer. If a retailer placed an order, Parker would send them the gun(s).

My DHE 20 bore was purchased by me in London. It has all the London proof marks on the barrel flats and the name "McGraw" on the initial shield. Unfortunately the research letter did not have the original consignee's name. It was made in 1925 w/ 30 inch Titanic Steel barrels.

American Sportsmen donated over 1 million sporting arms to be sent to the British for home gaurd , following the evacuation of Dunquerque. Elmer Keith was one of the inspectors who examined them before shipment, at Provo Utah. You can read about it several places in his books.
I picture an English WREN gaurding the entrance to No10 Downing St with a Parker Trojan 20.

I have a GH 10 with British proof marks for 3 1/2 Tons. If I remember correctly it was first sold it the US to an unspecified customer. Somewhere in its life my "Little Friend Ten" went across the pond and was proofed. It was also restocked from capped pistol grip to a way too finely checkered for a GH straight grip buttstock.

Perhaps my GH served in the Home Guard?

Thanks Austin for that information. We don't usually think of that when we learn of a Parker or other guns turning up in England or having British proof marks.
Harvey H. Brown, competitive shooter and discussed in Ed Muderlak's last book was an industrialist, primarily in iron, from Cleveland, OH, donated his guns (likely all of them) to the British Home Guard.... all but one, that is - a fabulous highest grade twelve gauge hammer gun - his favorite Parker.
