Remington auto, 1893 or 1897 Winchester, another Winchester, another Remington auto, and a Parker. Great picture.

Starched collars and ties in that humidity? Torturous.

BTW, I think I see Cinderella's Castle at the far edge of that field!

Whoever hand colored that did a hell of a job unless it was done in Photoshop. But still, very cool.

My question is do we know the individuals in this photo, particularly the Parker guy?

I pulled the photo from a Remington 11 facebook group.

Those repeater-toting boys are projecting a lawman demeanor.

Maybe Dr. Drew can identify some of those shooters for us.

I don't recognize the names of H.N. Hall, Peters' and Sanders & Jones, UMC Reps.
Was hoping Harold Money would have been there.

That was October, Steve. Even Florida has cooled a bit each year by then.

The preceding article about John Boa, Fred Gilbert, C.M. Powers and their Montana big game hunt is a classic. Go to page 13 on the link to read this interesting account.

The opening line that they had just done the Pacific Coast Handicap at Spokane caught my eye. The Spokane Gun Club was still shooting at Natatorium Park in 1907. You could buy your shells at Ware Bros. Hardware and take the streetcar from there right to the park.
