Well, our Natty Jo is definitely pregnant!! We bred her again with Royal Sterling's Schuyler. After the litter she had in 2020, we had requests for pups from the same breeding!! She should whelp around August 18. If anyone is interested in beautiful English Setters that are great in the home and monsters in the field, let us know.

Just saw this Mike, awesome! She was ready to pop Sunday when we were there. Sight of me must have scared them babies out.

10 for sure. All ten can feed at the same time.

4 of the 10 had quite a bit of dark color. We weighed them Tuesday evening and another one is developing some black spots on it's one hind foot. Possibility of 4-5 tri-colors, but we won't hold our breath. All are growing and healthy. They are very mobile, some are really quick little buggers too. A couple definitely have a set of pipes!!

Half of the pups opened their eyes today and I’d say half are ready to do more walking than just 5 steps and a flop. At least one is a tri-color. Onward and upward!

Only 4 pups are available. :) We auctioned a "draft pick" off at our Pheasants Forever banquet on Saturday night. We donated ALL the money to the chapter and the pup went for $1750!! WOOT-WOOT!!

Three pics of puppy # 1. “Draft pick #6” will be choosing one of these pups. Four will remain available.

THIS PUPPY IS STILL AVAILABLE. The family decided they wanted a smaller Setter for traveling.

How much for a male pup when there ready?

Mike Koneski
09-23-2022, 04:36 PM
$1500. A $200 non-refundable deposit assures your "draft pick". There are only male pups available. Draft pick #6 will be chosen tomorrow morning (they chose pup #1). The pups all will go to their new homes with vet health certification, genetic health money back guarantee, puppy shots (if you want them), dewormed and the litter will be registered. The pups should be ready to go home around October 20. Thanks for asking.

They are gorgeous !!!!!! I am trying to figure out how my decrepit 73 year old frame would keep up with one (AH! Those were the days...!!) Is their registration FDSB or AKC? I am weak in the knees just looking at these pictures and have a favorite already!!!

Garry L Gordon

OK, at least one of them is winking at me! What wonderful faces! I should not have shown those photos to my wife. We have a puppy coming at the end of the month, and were it not for that, we'd be sorely tempted (and that from a confirmed and lifelong Gordon setter guy).

Joe, you'd better get one. A puppy will make a 73 year old turn into an 18 year old...at least in your heart and mind.

Garry, I still THINK that I'm 18 years. The main difference is now, everything hurts!!! Those pups are taking me back 40 years, though.....

Garry, all four have great personalities too. Only difference so far is a few ounces of size and coloration.

The pups are 7 weeks old tomorrow. All growing like weeds. Eating healthy, playing a lot and sleeping well. AND, don't forget 10 puppies pooping. We should add that to The Twelve Days of Christmas!! Now that y'all are singing that in your head...:rotf: They will be dewormed again this week and weighed. They have their vet visit and shots on 10/18. We have two nibbles on the remaining four. If you are interested now is the time to act. The remaining four are in the lodge with us during business hours and that usually sells pups.

Keavin, come on, you know you want to!!!

ONLY TWO PUPS REMAIN!! They turned 9 weeks old on Wednesday, 10/26. All have their shots and have been dewormed, toe nails clipped and had their vet check ups. We do have one gent interested in a pup and he needs to decide which one he will want. First deposit gets the pick of the two pups.

I had mentioned to Mike, that I bought my son a 20 gauge Trojan made in 1913, excactly 100 years older than him a few years ago. It was actually the first Trojan I shot and it is a nice Parker. Here is the thread from when I got it: https://parkerguns.org/forums/showthread.php?t=23790

So yes my son Johnathan has a Parker to use with his new dog Chase. I will be the one carrying the 20 gauge lifter on our hunts :)

I can't express how wonderful it has been with the puppy the last few days. My daughters are having fun too. Plus my Golden Retriever/Irish Setter mix got used to everything fairly quickly. I feel like it was meant to be...
