What do you think these loads are pressure wise. The load looks good other than the 1 1/18 shot load.Thats not the price this Wally world

They are at or near SAAMI specs for 12ga. which I believe is around 12,000psi. or so.

That's the load I shoot for 16 yard singles and second shot in doubles trap. I step it up to 3 drams for handicap. My Parker SBT's digest them on a regular basis with no problems. My GHE likes the 2 3/4 dram as well. But that's just me and my Parkers and I'm not making any recommendations.

I think just about everything I handload for 12 16 or 20 will equal the pressure level for these . FWIW I shoot the same handloads in my 12 and 16 hammerguns as I do in the hammerless . Also the factory pigeon loads I used last year at pigeon shoots are a bit hotter than these as the pigeon loads are 1 1/4 ounce 1300 FPS+ . And yeah in the pigeon ring I have three Parker 12's I prefer to shoot .

I shot these almost exclusively when I used to shoot trap before 2010 in my 1898 DH 12 with 2 9/16” chambers and Titanic barrels.

Well there's several cases at my local walmart for $90 per case.I think I'll let my VH 12 try some.

FWIW in the old Winchester loading manuals, the load with the * next to it that means it duplicates that factory load shows a pressure of 8,600 psi.

That's a heck of a deal these days. I'd buy all they'd let me have.

Without actually pressure testing them, the only real answer is “they are to SAAMI spec”.

John Davis, if you shoot a 2 3/4 dram equivalent load in your second barrel of doubles, what do you shoot in the first barrel?

Bill, 2 3/4 dram equiv., 1 oz., no. 8 shot for the first barrel. 2 3/4 dram equiv., 1 1/8 oz., no. 7 1/2 shot for the second barrel.

Serious trap loads from the time your Parker Bros. were the hot ticket --

And every one of our Parker trap guns, single and double, digested thousands of those 1 1/4 ounce loads for 100 years and are still tight as new. Hard to believe.
