This guy got too rambunctious to stay in the nest. First saw him on the 17th --

Saw him again on the 28th.

Adults are still attending to him. Hopefully this family will thin the arboreal rats!!

Have you seen the parents feeding it?Must be around as he looks healthy.

I haven't actually seen them feeding the little guy, but I see them around all the time. This forenoon I was cleaning up around my Ginko tree and looked up to see him watching me --

Earlier this morning while I was cutting up a tree that didn't survive my thinning operation, one of the adults was watching me.

He was back in his spot along the south side of my shop building by the daffodils this morning.

I got his pair of barn owls at the south ranch here in Florida.I out new screen up and realized they had been nesting so left them a hole.
