I recently tried to become a paid member, but noticed only one way to pay. And that was with PayPal. Is there any other way to pay by using a credit card?

Hi Joseph:

To my knowledge as it stands today there are two ways to join. The first would be as you have already noted. The second would be to actually print the membership application out, and enclose a check, and mail it in. I am not aware of the PGCA accepting credit card payments. Please do not let this deter you from joining the organization, you will not be disappointed.

Talk to your grandkids about computerized money transfers. I'll be they tell you they are using Venmo. Unbelievably easy, and no cost for person-to-person transactions

Pretty much all of them prohibit firearm transactions. See this link

If you didn't have something as widespread as PayPal, internet commerce would be almost impossible. I detest their stand on guns. However, they have saved my bacon on multiple bad transactions, to the point I almost won't do business with a merchant who doesn't allow them. The only exeptions are established well known companies separate from the internet. I think you have to draw the line between the companies that draw a line in what they will do in the conduct of their business and those who actively campaign and advocate against what you believe. If I used the second approach, I would hardly be able to exist. I would certainly never buy a gun from a Type 1 FFL, since in my experience the bulk of them won't ship or transfer to a legal C&R holder.

It’s about attracting more members by making it easier for them pay dues and to pay for research letters, nothing more, nothing less.

I could not agree more.

So, don't you like the irony of the fact that PayPal helps the PGCA do business? I smile every time I order a research letter on a gun and use PayPal. They are just another money-loving hypocrite.

Do you know what the stances are of your bank who backs the check? Or the company the prints your check? Who says that your check is not Anti-gun? It may be.

Wish there was an easy way to communicate with the anti's so that they are made aware of the fact that their position is costing them money

Bank of America= Anti Gun

I will not use a Bank if I know they are Anti Gun!

Harry

I used to go bird hunting with the President of my local bank. I doubt that would ever happen with the CEO of any major credit card company or National Banking Company. Radical stock owners and hedge fund managers who are catering to the fringe elements are bending to the demands for Socially Responsive investors.
