I have a restocked Parker that someone has really messed with. It is a simple VH but deserves to have a original stock and forend. It is a #2 frame gun, and it needs to be put back to somewhat original condition!

I have a quick question about the stock on a 16 gauge Parker. The stock is plain with no checkering or engraving and it has a hard rubber but plate. The frame is 0 and the grade appears to be VH. is it reasonable to believe the stock is original?

Not in original condition. If it is factory wood.

If it was factory, it does not matter. It has been so butchered up, it is fire wood. That is among the worst Inhave seen. I dont know what some people are thinking sometimes…

I would say the only good thing about that stock is that in a proper fire it would keep you warm for about 10 minutes on a cold night.

sorry Carl, but that stock is a mess, also looks like the frame has been blued--it should be case colored.

This is not factory wood. You may have to send it out to have proper wood made and fitted, or get lucky and find some original O frame wood

It would make a heck of a great grip for a sawed off.
