It has been successfully been done before, but fitting barrels to a Parker is always chancey....sometimes yes, sometimes no.

I did it with a CHE 20 ga,cost me about $600 for the work, and now have a three barrel set, 20ga 26",20ga 32",16ga 28".

I've owned and tried three sets of barrels on a #2 frame BH I've got and haven't had a successful fit on any. Kept the ones that fit the best but they still aren't great. Sometimes you get lucky and sometimes you don't. But I've seen some fitted up to where you couldn't tell it from factory work too.

I bought a EH 10 #2 frame with an extra set of cut 24" Vulcan 12 gauge barrels fitted to it. That gives me a 9 pound 10 gauge or a 8+ pound short barreled 12 gauge. Neither barrel set makes the EH a good grouse gun!

Chris,

I am the luckiest fellow on the block. I was given a set of 1 frame Damascus 16 gauge barrels. I had two 1 framed GH's and the barrels didn't come close to fitting. Some years later I found a 12 gauge PH and the barrels were beat up badly. I took the cocking hook off the 16 gauge barrels and they dropped right on the PH. The dolls head was flush and it was on face and the forend fit. I put the cocking hook from the 12 gauge Twist barrels that came with the PH onto the 16 gauge barrels. Again the gun went together. Cocked and disassembled with ease. That is day dream come true.

Mark,

That gun would be murder on ducks in the timber with heavy loads of 7 1/2 shot. *wink*

Mark, sub-gauge tube it to 28 ga.

Chris,

I had a #2 frame without barrels and was given a set of #2 frame barrels. They looked like they may fit. I sent them to Brad Bachelder and though he had to add more metal to the breach end of the barrels you could never tell. I can't brag on him enough. I'll tell the whole story when it comes back from the stocker.

I have a CHE 16 on a #1 frame that had a set of 12ga bbls (also #1 frame) added later. It can be done.
