The serial number 84773 is not included in the serialization book. If you can tell us what gauge it is we can tell you the available frame sizes for that era.

Do you have the gun that you can look at it ? Or tell the owner where to look .

From the serial number, I figured out the gun was made in 1896. I believe it to be 12 ga. so the frame could be 1 1/2, 2 or 3 I think.

Yes but that doesnt answer your question but if your happy with that then your good I think a 1 frame fits in there too

If you have the gun in hand it will be stamped on the bottom of the barrel lug. Based on the serial number it's old enough to have been built on a 1, 2 or maybe a 3 frame. I don't believe Parker was making 1-1/2 frames them. I owned a D from around that period and it was built on a 2 frame.

Parker didn't start the 1 1/2 frame until about the turn of the century or very, very late in the 1890's.

I take it you own a G 1 1/2 frame gun and you want to buy that 84773 forend and want someone to say it will fit even if it is the same frame size its a crap shoot they were all fitted by a human Just saying .

If the width of the forend iron is exactly correct for the gun it can be made to fit but only if that will be the only forend the gun will have because the forend loop (lug) may need to be altered.
