I assume the HOF dinner is separate from the annual meeting, yes? Can I also assume that a rank and file life member can attend the HOF dinner? I'd really like to see Louis get this recognition, and I hope I can attend this event.

In conversations with Louis over the last few months he has been working diligently on a large comprehensive display of guns and related material that has never before been displayed. In my opinion if there was a HOF Induction for displays I’m sure this one would qualify. As I recall I believe Louis said he would need 8 tabes. I know I am looking forward to it in great anticipation!

Garry, the annual meeting is in June concurrent with the Northeast SxS Classic at Hausmann’s. The meeting is held Friday night in Vestal, NY.

Does he by chance have one of the steam engines Parker sold ? All the years I fooled with steam I had no idea they sold them at one point .

Hall of Fame Dinner Canceled

Louis Parker lll has recently undergone serious back surgery. He is currently unable to attend the event at Carolina Trace Country Club and as such, the Foundation Board has made the decision to cancel the event. We are hoping to reschedule again next year, same time.

I echo Dean's comments. We had scheduled to be there if at all possible this year expressly because of the induction of Louis who was so kind and encouraging to me in my research on Wilbur, Sr.
