Gentlemen,

I don't know if this is the proper section to give a huge thank you to one of our PGCA members or not, but here goes..!

Mr. Kevin McCormack graciously refurbished an old 50's model leather leg-0-mutton case for me recently and did a fabulous job on it..! The man is a true leather craftsman, making and installing new handle straps, end cap straps, a new sling so I can put it over my shoulder this fall, plus re/coating the exterior which was drying out from it's age. Everything blends together perfectly! The interior is still in very good condition also. He is also quite fast in turnaround.

I'm sure many of you know this about Kevin already, but I just wanted to say how much I am impressed by his skills. My Parkers will now have a new case to go in prior to being assembled in the field now.

If anyone is in need of their case repair, Kevin is THE man to do it.

Thank you, Kevin..!

He has done twenty or more cases for me, including just a stitch job on a strap to a full trunk case interior. Just great work.

He has not done any work for me yet, but I have bought some cases from him.

don't limit Kevin's skills to gun cases

he restored the leather seat on an A&F stick seat, as well as a big leather box case for a 1950s Speed Graphic large format press camera for me

I think I’m getting close to ten or twelve jobs with the young fellow . When I was younger it was relatively easy to find a tack shop that could do workable repairs and maybe a few shoe repair shops . Anymore shoe repair shops are like hens teeth and a decent tack shop are few and far between anymore . Oh yes I found his pricing quite reasonable to say the least .

So, who is who in that picture, for those of us that don't know him?

That's Kevin in the navy blue facing the camera. It looks like Daryl Corona talking with Kevin.

The look alike is his brother Tom.

I've never seen Daryl from that angle before. Tom McCormack on the far right with a hat is an easy pick. I don't know who the other guy is. Help.
