To be fair, the seller makes not claims to originality in his description. And also makes no mention of the sleeving of the barrels let alone who may have done the work.
And the gun was opened at only $400. There are plenty of photos that make it clear to see that the gun was sleeved and also recolored, for those that know what they are looking at.

Brian, in 4 email communications he stated that they were done at the factory

In my opinion, it's not a zero frame either. Again, in my opinion, it's a worn out 12 gauge in a large frame. About $2200 overpriced at this time. Serial number 65,750. Uninformed bidders unfortunately.

Don't waste your money. It's a real sloppy job on the sleeving & brazing on metel to the extractors. also, it looks like the extension rib stop plate has been welded up & beat with a hammer.

Wasn’t even looking but just wanted to see if the seller knew what he was selling.

They were sleeved in someone's factory. Just neither Parker Bros. or Remington's. The pictures show it to be a 1-frame. Dit it start life as a light 12-gauge or a 16-gauge?
it looks like the extension rib stop plate has been welded up & beat with a hammer.
I see what you mean, but there is no "stop plate" on an extractor gun.

I'm sorry to be so ignorant, but what is an "extension rib stop plate" as I can't find this fault. Also I don't see the brazing to the extractors. Still just trying to learn. And what "Grade" is this supposed to be with the barrel engraving? This thing has me totally confused, thank God I'm not buying.

There is no stop plate on that gun. As it is an extractor gun. The actual rib extension is beat up some.
The gun was and still is a DH grade.
