This old gal was in disrepair, worn engraving, stock broke in half at the wrist, screws were a mess. It’s starting to come back alive.

Very nice Brian, who’s your engraver?

The work is being done by Dawe, Dubois and Lemieux. A few examples of work they have done for me.

I didn't get the name, or forgot it, of the fellow Chris sent my skeleton butt plate, trigger guard and screws to but I was very pleased with the result.

Man I like it when the floor plate has a buck or buck and a doe or two .

You're in rare company Craig... a lot of folks wonder why the heck there are deer or elk engraved on a bird gun. I could never figure it out but I do appreciate the art.

And turnips flying over that scroll too. Brilliant work. That scroll rolls off the pin elegantly. Stunning work.

If you'd want, I'd be happy to use it for 5 years and would help mute the colors for you. Just sayin'
Every time I see the gun, it gets better and better.

I like the dogs running the deer...here in the south lots of folks used a double barrel to hunt deer with ive took a few deer with a double barrel myself..but none with such beautiful engraving as this.....charlie
