Has anyone heard if RST will setting up at Ernie's, and will have sufficient stock on hand for the event?

Last time I talked to Kris at RST they were going to be there with some shells. No pre-orders, first come, first serve. That was about a week ago.

Correct me if I’m wrong but isn’t their factory at the same place as the event ?

Any update on RST attending the shoot at Hausmann's next week and what inventory they may have? Based on past events my sense is a fair number people buy the shells they need at the shoot. As RST goes so goes the shoot??????

As I understand it.
They will be there. Limited stock with a limit on the number of boxes to each shooter
No flats sold

I did a Charity 100 bird sporting shoot a week ago and the signup included 4 boxes of ammo as in past years, to be provided by the organization. Of course the Charity had much difficulty getting ammo this year and many regular shooters anticipated that and brought their own shells. But the event also has many neophytes who work at places that support the organization and no doubt many of those shooters might not have fired a shotgun since last fall or even had been unaware of the current ammo shortage. Talk at the shoot was that the Charity’s lead man put out help calls to many suppliers, and Morris and RST stepped up to donate shells. The ones most evident were RST's excellent 12 ga Pigeon Loads with coppered shot that currently are at $17.00 per box on its website. Reliable function in the camo duck & turkey semis used last week by more than a few shooters. Their blue-colored paper hulls could be seen at all the stations and I heard many kudos to RST for its support in these difficult ammo supply times. :)

Morris Baker, proprietor of RST shells, is a great guy in so many ways. He is a supporter of the side by side game by providing us with ammunition proper for our early guns, both steel and Damascus, and donating prizes for our shoots far from his home base. I remember the day I first met Morris, but it is a story in itself.

My first memory of him was from a Vintage Cup years ago. I was standing at their tent and I see him walking up with that half smoked cigar and he was carrying an oversized single barrel shotgun that he had just found. It looked like a hand held artillery piece. He looked like a kid at Christmas who had just gotten his first gun, grinning from ear to ear. Really a great guy whole loves what he does.

Alfred, every gun Morris buys is his "first gun".

I used to be that way for most everything . Then got rather jaded from kinda playing in the industry for a number of years. But I will say the Superposed 28 and 410 , the VH 28 , the pair of 8’s and most recently the DHE 20 30” brought that feeling back atleast a few more times .
