I've been looking for an Ilion made gun.

Can anyone post a picture of the rib markings of an Ilion gun?

It's my understanding some Ilion guns would have the Meriden marked rib, is that correct? A lot of times online listings don't show the serial number, am I right to be looking for a 240,000 and up, what is the SN cutoff? Another question is that I remember reading Trojans were discontinued before WWII. What is the last Trojan SN, are some of them Ilion made?

An Ilion manufactured rib would be void of the rib legend that was customary from Meriden. You are correct in that Meriden ribs were also used at Ilion as were grip caps and butt plates. There are numerous examples out there that have both Ilion and Meriden features or parts if you will.

As long as Remington had stock of Meriden barrels and other parts marked Parker Bros. Meriden, even in Ilion, they were used in production and repairs/service.

After a cursory look in the Serialization book I don’t see any others listed as J after 240818

Jeff Kuss has a very nice VHE Remington era gun in the for sale section.

This gun letters to February 1939, but I don't have a picture of the date code on the barrel flat --
