I took the 20 ga Repro w/26 inch barrels to the skeet field today for the first time. This was a NIB Repro that I recently purchased from Stephen Cobb out of New Jersey. (By the way, Stephen was a pleasure to deal with).
From the look of the inside face of the receiver, it was easy to tell this 20 had not been fired. Came complete with leather Repro case w/cover and still had the new owners guide etc enclosed.
My main concern was whether or not the internal lubricants had congealed and Iwill have Dan Cullity strip. clean and lubricate it in the near future.
It was a pure pleasure to shoot skeet with, I think I broke 20 or better on the first round. Comes up to the shoulder just right for me.
Years ago, I bought one of the first Repros 20 ga new and sold it shortly thereafter for reason or reasons I don't recall now. Should have kept it.
But now I have the bug to buy another Repro. Probably a 12 ga.
A big thanks to Tom Skeuse for bringing these back for the enjoyment of so many Parker fans. I'm sold on this one!

I agree with you Allen. The 20’s are sweet guns. I bought a steel shot special first then had to have a 20. They are keepers.

Two thumbs up, Allen!

If you're like me and will be taking 100 shots at targets for every shot taken at game birds with it, you might consider converting to a manual safety when you have the strip and clean done.

How about posting pics of the wood in the "Let's see some wood!" thread?
