Help identifying my Parker

I would appreciate help identifying my Parker. I established it is 19 0 9, From the serial number which is 151674. I will attach pictures on the barrel unclear on frame size weight model. Thank anyone for their help.

Which I would assume why there is no frame/size marked.....

So, it looks like you have a grade 2 or GH Parker. It has replacemrnt barrels, apparently from Belgium. Perhaps something happened to the original barrels. Pictures of the whole gun, stock, fore arm, etc will help us piece together this puzzle. How are the bores in those barrels.

S = SKEET BOTH BARRELS

18.6 mm = .732 inches bore

18.4 mm= .724 inches choke

What length are they? 26"? 28"?

Grade 2 = GH

Measure firing pins center to center to determine frame size and let us know.

Unfortunately 151674 is not in the Serialization book but that serial number puts the gun into the very beginning of Parker Special Steel barrel production which even further begs the question “Why?” However, the gun could still have been produced with Danascus barrels.

I am not sure that I understand what you have just professed. Can you please Explaining further detail with that means. The number is in a range that is listed by Parker so why would it not be "in the book". The other gentleman who responded claimed it was 2nd generation GH. Are you saying that is inaccurate? I appreciate all the feedback That I am receiving.

Parker Bros. used two sets of ledgers, stock books and order books. Not all of them have survived. The serialization book was only done from one of the sets of ledgers. By typing in your guns serial number in the Research Letter pick from the home page it shows the PGCA has records on your gun, so you could get a letter on its original specs from Chuck.

With the Belgian proof marks on your guns watertable, it appears the rebarreling work was actually done in Belgiam. Not just a set of replacement barrels from Atlas Arms or some others. The date code in the proof marks the lowercase a is 1976.

In the Parker Identification and Serialization book in the range that your serial number falls into the only guns that were recorded for this purpuse within a range of a few thousand guns were grade 3 and higher... for whatever reason the person recording the records chose to exclude grades 2 and lower.

There is likely information enough to support a research letter though.

There is the possibility the original bbls were damaged beyond repair and your uncle had a Belgian company make another set of bbls? Badly dented, bent, had a trunk closed on them, dropped on rocks, etc? Enjoy your Parker!
