The tear drop on your stock doesn't look like what would be on an original Parker D grade.
If you like it and shoot it well that's all that matters for now. Enjoy!

Good enough for me I’ve been searching for one for ages in my price range it’s booked in for a smith to check over

Congrat's on taking the leap & joining the SxS fraternity, let alone your first gun being a Parker.

Getting a qualified smith to look over the gun is a good move, but be aware that most gunsmiths don't know about or work on Parkers on a regular basis and because of this can actually damage the gun or give you un-informed advice & opinions about your gun. My advice is to be sure to find a gunsmith that knows Parkers!

The buttstock is not original. It is an aftermarket replacement made by who knows who.

An ejector gun would be a DHE. Make sure that it does in fact. A lot of people say that guns they are selling have ejectors because they think a shell EXTRACTOR is an ejector.

Blurry Pictures and in "Good Condition" as per the internet, sounds like a keeper to me...

Hopefully you are pleasantly surprised.

Michael, post a series of good, sharp pics to this site with the gun broken down. Be sure to include the water table area, the breech, muzzle, top rib at muzzle and breech, barrel flat (bottom on breech end), bottom of receiver, etc. The gentlemen who frequent this sit are doubtless the best pool of knowledge on the Parker guns I have come across. We have a number of members that are VERY skilled at restoration and repair. You'll get a good deal of highly informed opinion and information.
