I have opportunity to buy a very nice, outwardly appearing, 28 GA VH. Everything matches serialization book.
Here is the problem. Bores measure .570" and .569". The gun's serial number range is 211xxx. I did not have my BWT gauge with me so I passed believing the MBWT would be too thin.
IS IT POSSIBLE TO FIT A PAIR OF PARKER REPRO 28 GA BARRELS TO A ORIGINAL GUN???
I still have opportunity to buy this gun.
I would like to hear member ideas about possible avenues for this gun.
Thank you!

All things considered, and speaking with zero experience with Reproduction barrels, I would think barring no budget restraints it would be possible on some 00 frames.
You said a VH thus no kickers, so you would have to alter the Reproduction barrels to extractors. I have taken ejector barrels, and have that work done and fit to extractor frames.

Take a look at what is stated under "Accessories" in this 1988 Parker Reproduction price list. The 28ga. Repro barrels were made for the 00-frame of course.

And if anyone can fit Repro barrels to your gun it would be Dave Fjelline.

My question has now become moot. Seller decided not to sell.

Im in the same situation now, I have a nice set of Repro B Grade 20ga Barrels that I found and I am wanting to put them on my O Frame VH 16ga 1903 YOM, my Smith says its possible but keep in mind, once fitted to your old Parker I was told that it cannot be reversed.....believe it or not, carefully trying the repro barrels on my old parker....they actually just about fit....I can see them being made to fit .....decisions decisions....hmmmm. I will be watching this thread to see what the more experienced have to say on this....good luck and I hope it works for you.

Probably too much chatter here about the possibilities caused the seller to reconsider his options.

Anything can be done as long as you are working within the same frame size.
