New member new to me Parker

I recently purchased a 16 gauge VHE 28” barrels made in 1929 . It is at the gunsmith having the ejectors cleaned . So no pictures ,yet. I’m also a member of the Winchester ,Sharps and Smith & Wesson collector groups . I prefer to shoot my guns even thought I also like to admire their beauty . I hunted with a 20 gauge Parker while in high school but while I was in college the son of the man who gave it to my father reclaimed it with the new stock we had put on it . This summer , after 50 years , I decided to replace it but I’m a 16 gauge guy right now so I got a 16 . Look forward to learning more about Parkers from the vast knowledge of this group and maybe add a Parker or two along the way .

Glad to have you with us. Many here have diverse taste in guns as you. And we too like to shoot them all. When the shooting is slow you always have a gun to admire in your hands. Most of my Parkers are lower grade yet they are svelte as a teenage girl.
