If the 8 gauge makes the low estimate, all of my eights are for sale. I forgot all about yesterday. Thankfully there were only a couple of items I was interested in.

Eric, might that one have been part of your DH collection once upon a time??

The A-1 dropped at 47.500 I doubt it met reserve !

Let us know what they sell for

A-1 stopped at $47,500 plus the premium if it met the reserve .

The DH 8 stopped at $37,500 also plus premium if it met reserve .

I was after two of the SC's but they went higher than I was willing to pay when buyers premium is added .

I would think both made reserve. No active collector should take the beating of the commission and watch his gun sell for xxx plus 18 or 20%. You would think the buyer and seller could get together without a middle man. I don't know what the commission rate is, but I know what the BP is and there is an enormous spread. In my opinion, the "spread" is a heartbreaker for the seller.

The 8 ga DH did not sell nor did the A1.
