What i have purchased is a VH 12ga #2 2 barrel set, one being damascus in high original condition. The shotgun itself would rate 95+ color would rate 35-40%.

Very proud of this find.

Those Damascus barrels would have been added at a later date as Parker Bros. made the VH models with Vulcan Steel barrels.

Please show us some pictures of your Parker.

Welcome to the PGCA forum.

I recommend you join the PGCA as an annual member ($40) ane order a research letter at the member price ($40) and you might find out some interesting provenance on your VH.

I had a beautiful set of Damascus barrels fitted to my 1899 DH that was manufactured with Titanic Steel barrels and I had the Damascus barrels numberes to the gun.

Where in NH are you?

As a matter of fact ...I'm headed to my local candy store for some RST loads.

Pheasant season here is still 3 weeks out.

Dan, you’re safe. Dean has that Je ne sais quoi that just needs regular beatings.
He’s tolerable now, but can you imagine what he’d be like without the periodic zinger? He’s rapidly closing in on 25,000 posts, and he’s going to be even harder to love then.

Just across the river from lovely Fellows Ba, I mean Bellows Falls. All my cousins grew up there. My uncle had a wire company in Walpole.

I am really interested in your Parker, Fran. I had a DH two barrel set with the 28" barrels Damascus and the 30" barrels Titanic Steel. I also have a GH with Vulcan barrels. One never knows when it comes to Parkers. I too would also like to see pictures.

Kindest, Harry
