Had to let pretty much everything go a couple years ago. Things are looking a little better now and was able to purchase some doubles again. Thank you Brian Hornacek for giving me a great deal on a Parker. Was fortunate to obtain a 1879 WW Greener and a Harrington and Richardson no. 509 as well. All 10 gauge.

Bruce, I can sure relate. We got anhilated in the 2008 depression. It was a blood-bath!
Lots of stuff got sold.

You got that right ! In 2008 I lost my grandfather on my mother’s side 11 months to the day after he passed in 2009 I lost my mother .

Couldn't have made to many. 32" barrels choked full and stupid full. Quite heavy, more than the Parker. Maybe 10 pounds.

The H&Rs are mystery guns to most of us. Tell us more about yours with some pictures.

Anyone who owns an H&R double, or is interested in them, would be wise to review all of the NEW information about these guns in my new book, The Birth of The Boxlock Shotgun. There's photos and listings never seen before. Plus SO much more!

Yup, I'll do it. Who is selling the book? I have seen it out there.

I clicked on your links and it said “doesn’t exist” and “not found” .

Sorry. I have no idea what happened to those links. The Russians?

THIS ONE should work fine. It's the publisher's page:

I hear you fellows. And I'd love to accommodate you.

But... please let me check with my publisher first. I don't want to "compete" with him or good dealers like Gunnerman Books. There is also a plan to have signed copies available through Double Gun Journal. But I'm not up to speed on that effort either.

In any case, I must respect all of these fine sources before giving you an answer...
