I posted pics of my 10 ga CHE on another thread recently. Then I pm'd Brush Buster and he gave me a lot more info on my gun. I believe my gun to have barrel liners put in to shoot 12ga shells. It has also been restocked, but supposedly with decent wood that I will probably have refinished to look more original. The question here is if my barrels are damascus or Bernard, as Brush Buster says they are listed as damascus, one of only 3 CHE 10ga's made with damascus and not Bernard steel. The rib shows damascus steel, not bernard and the rib is also damascus. Please look at my pitiful pics and let me know what you think. Also, I loved the site so much, I joined. Will order my letter this week. Hope to find eveidence that it has been in my family forever as it was told to me.

Lucius your barrels are definetly Damascus. If you put Bernard into the search box above you will likely get some threads with pictures of Bernard barrels to compare. You could also from the home page click on the grades section and look at the C grades. I’m sure there are some Bernard barrels there. Welcome to the PGCA.

Hello Luke ,and Others ,Luke has PM'ed me to ask for some info. on his gun and how to get a Parker Serialization Book and I looked up the configuration of his gun in the Parker Story and told him ,according to his serial # ,there appears to be only 3 ,CH Grades ,in 10 Ga. with 30" Damascus Steel Barrels w/ Capped Pistol Grip and the book shows his gun to have ejectors also ,I would say a very unique gun !
