Just wanted to drop a short note to Thank ,Mr. Dunkle ,for the time spent on creating the " Guns For Sale " section on our site ! This is such a nice alternative to some other ways of selling our guns , buyers and sellers ,are immediately connected with other folks that have the same interest ,also it gives the newer members a chance to ask questions and view guns that are accurately described ,and opens the door for a more personal sale and a better chance of purchasing a quality gun the first time around ! Any way John , You are to be commended on how well this forum is working out and hopefully is much appreciated by the majority of our Members ! Russ

Thank you.... I know I replied to your PM earlier - but not the most recent one Russ - but and so - here is my view, which I would have written in private, but now that this post is public...

This Forum is about folks like you - and now - about 2100+ others, of which 1800+ are active users/Members... My role is simple - just as a caretaker for the PGCA and its Members... The new "PGCA Member Only" forums - including the guns for sale area - is what I can do. It's small compared to what all the rest of you do...

What the rest of all of you do is participate, post, assist, welcome - and share your knowledge about Parkers. You folks do that each and every day - in public, all the time...

In comparison - my role is small... I just try to "pave the roads" so this community can exist, grow and thrive... Will we hit a few "speed bumps" along he way? You bet... But...

It's you - and folks like you who help flatten those same bumps...

In short - from my end of the telescope - I'm the one who is honored that the BOD of PGCA, you and the PGCA Members have placed an incredible amount of trust and faith in to deliver the best collector site on the Internet. I think - we have just started on this community called "PGCA"...

As well - and as an aside... I also want to thank you Russ for your donation to Rennwish. All our 1700+ children in Haiti - and Jen & I want to wish you a personal Thank You and wonderful, blessed Merry Christmas...

Hi George!

It's NOT a silly question at all!!

OK - the PGCA Member forums can be seen by PGCA Members.. To others, they don't exist (as they can't be seen)...

For that.... If you ARE a PGCA Member (you get Parker Pages, have a Membership number - etc.,) and I missed setting you up on the Forums as a Member - please let me know, OK? I set up a couple of threads here for folks who are Members and need me to set their status on the Forum:

Hello again John: I'm still showing up as a Forum Member & not a PGCA Member. When I get to my office tomorrow I am going to look up my payments for membership. I have the new member packet with pin, decal, etc. I am showing as a member on the member list.
