Manufacturing date question

According to the Parker Identification link, by serial number my Parker was made in 1905. However the research letter I received says the gun was ordered February 7, 1904 and shipped on February 17, 1904. Should the research letter be correct indicating the gun was manufacturered in 1904?

The letter is wrong. I must have been drinking too much when I wrote that letter:rolleyes: Actually the order was placed and shipped in February 1906! It was made in 1905 but probably sat in inventory until ordered and sold in 1906. I'm sending you a revised letter.
