Wanting to know if anyone has a Parker letter (and gun) that references George Jenckes, Gilbert Jay or Wendell Jay. All are relatives that were known to buy Parkers directly from the factory and also through the Parker NYC showroom from the 1880's to 1930's. I have one gun, 1887 Grade 3 top lever and know a 16 gauge top lever was also ordered about the same time which I don't know where it lies and also 5-6 hammerless Parkers in differing grades/gauges that were in the family at one time but don't know their whereabouts either, except for a AAHE 12 gauge. Thanks.

Nothing in the letter archives for either of these 3 gentlemen.

Chuck, I do have a letter from you for the 1887 hammer under the name of G.D. Jay. Thanks for checking the other names.

Tom, you are right, I missed the letter with G.D. Jay in it. I searched the archived letters for the word "Jay". It brought up all the letters with that word in it however it just showed the first instance of Jay in the letter and that was usually who ever ordered the letter. If there were multiple words with Jay in the letter I wouldn't have known it unless I opened up the entire letter. That's when I found G.D. Jay on the letter I wrote for you. Is that a relative of yours?

G.D. Jay was my great-grandfather. He was also an early breeder of Llewellin setters. Lived in Kokomo, IN.
