Hi there, I'm looking for a little help, if anybody has the book Parker Identification and Serialization, please take a look at #198520, and the barrel length. the barrels are 27" as are #198521 but the book says 37", could this be a typo? THANKS<

We’d really like to know more about your Parker.
I too have a 27” Parker (Lifter) - A grade 3 Lifter with 27" Laminated steel barrels and the only 16 gauge known to be made in that configuration.

#198520, VH, 12 gauge, 1 1/2 frame, straight grip, barrels are 27" f/f, needs some work, and I'm in process #198520 appears to have 27" barrels as well, THANKS

A physical examination of the barrels at the muzzle, rib and chokes would tell you quickly if they should be suspect or not.
But I would lean towards the book being a typo. 37 instead of 27, which the gun physically is now. So the gun may very well be right.

if you have measured the chokes to be F/F - they did not have 10 inches cut off
