Ive read on how its common on early Parkers to have some variations in bore size for their given gauge . My question is about a top lever however , would a bore size of .795 on a 10 gauge be unusual ?

i find early guns of any gauge can be overbored- but I do check that the wall thickness is good, that they are overbored not bored out

Thats only 0.033 from a 8 ga haha .
Ive been looking at a couple different 10 ga Parkers currently up for sale .
The sellers usually dont provide enough information on sites like gunbroker .
One has a 10 ga #3 frame which claims a barrel weight of 12lbs it appears, which seems awfully heavy for a #3 frame .
The gun in question though was one on a auction site that is a frankenstein gun the frame , barrels , & forend all different serial numbers .
Ive been trying to see if there are any shootable Parker 10 gauges under the 2,000$ range .

No it would not be unusual. I have owned several 10 gauge top lever guns under #70,000 that had large bores.

are you aware that on early guns the order number is on the barrels as well
the serial number may be on the side of the lug
see if the number there agrees with the watertable

The seller is the one listing it as the 3 different parts being mismatched .
I emailed him for more pictures which showed the 14625 barrels , the only other numbers I seen were what looks to be a 56 .

The seller doesn't know about serial numbers, barrel weight markings, or order numbers, and he certainly doesn't know anything about the selling price of Parker shotguns in monkeyed with condition.

Yes the price does seem way off , original he had it listed as a Winchester haha.
