Open the main Forum by clicking here:

Next - let's open a Forum that you want to make a new thread in.. You do that by going down the page and clicking on any of the forum titles.. Let's open the "PGCA Site Help Forum" to try out your new thread:

Once that is open - take a look for this image:

You'll see it on the left above the forum thread window and it says "NEW THREAD"..

And then in the "Message:" box - type whatever you'd like in your thread... When you are done typing you'll see a button "Submit New Thread" under where you were typing. So........

Just click that button..!

So, I thought I would take a moment to update this thread to let many of you know that that if your Membership has lapsed, your "PGCA Member" title might have disappeared.

To Whom it May Concern; Been paying dues for quite a few years, member number 223, but haven't received the most recent issue of The Parker Pages, so if I have been blacklisted ? please return funds sent to you under check #3402 on the 23 of November '09, that was sent on the very day we received a "First Past Due Notice and Invoice", which stated my membership's Expiration date: was 7/1/2009??? If so, then why did I receive the Parker Pages thru most of 2010??? . NEVER received any renewal notice, nor any e-mail alerting me to my expiring membership. Been married 46+ years and mom is never late paying bills that find their way to her desk. (Key phrase: find their way to her desk) Unfortunately, I don't have my life on automagic pay, nor do I want it to be. Apparently, I have lost my early member number as well. Just dug up tax box and noticed that I did indeed not renew my membership last year either, But, we did send in the $25 raffle ticket check (#3106) on 24th of Aug '09, and mom said we didn't get any raffle tickets this year. Only got the 'First Past Due Notice' in November of 2010! Does that mean mom missed the dues notice that might have been included with the raffle tickets last year??? or was it not sent??? I only realized membership had lapsed when trying to respond to a member's wanted item request. Regards, Tom Kidd

Well, John, did Tom Kidd get his problems solved at PGCA, or did Jent Mitchell solve them for us? Did he get them solved at all? I get messages from people on a fairly regular basis asking about their memberships and PP delivery. Yes, I know there are ways for them to solve their problems, but I have to guess that they wouldn't come to me if they hadn't tried other sources first, and more than once. Are we in the same boat we were in a couple of years ago?

Did a lot more duck hunting than upland and since I am still looking for a 12 ga 3" chambered Parker that will shoot steel shot :crying: I was stuck using the old 1100. My GH 16 did do well when I gave here a chance, 6 for 8 on phez roosters. She still has some trouble with quail though.:rolleyes:

My good friend Art Wheaton got me to join PGCA some years ago.
At the time he told me that the old Parker I was looking at was not so hot and that he could find me a lot better gun.
Still waiting. He is not as swift as you all.
Since then other friend Frank Finch, has motivated me toward several Elsies.
PGCA is a great organization and I look forward to participating in the forum.

Hi Ronald,

John has forwarded your message on to me, as I have recently taken over the membership responsibilities. I did not find your name on the membership listing I have, but I did find that you sent in a paypal payment in October.

I don't know what happened, but we are extending your membership thru April 1, 2012. I do have your address now and we will send your copy of Parker Pages.

Did you ever receive a "Welcome Packet" when you joined in October? If not, let me know and I will make sure you receive one as soon as I receive the materials. We are in sort of a transition mode at the present time and I apoligize for this inconvenience.

I am an annual member, have been for years my membership # 1949. I realize by the time you get to the Y's you are a bit winded, I tend to get over looked a lot. Anyway make the adjustments needed so I can get to the member only part.
