Well it was to warm on Christmas Day for a fire so waited till New Years Day, Still warm but what the heck, you should be near a fireplace on the Holidays, had some wine and enjoyed the time with my wife and dog, Gary

nice way to spend the in coming NEW YEAR...i ve wished a thousand times that i should have put in a fire place in my home...i did put in a chimney for a wood burning stove but it just dont do the job on the holidays like a fire place....in my youth i spent many cold evening s setting by the old fire place....charlie

It was around 60 degrees here on New Year's Day, so no fire  . In fact, I think this was our last one way back in October...woulda liked to have been nestled up next to yours Gary...

Alfred it took five of us to bring in the lintel stone, it sits on a 8x8 piece of angle iron, 5 truck loads of stone from 3 old houses on the property I handled most every one of them, saw a lot of copper heads in the process. gary
