The Calm Before the Storm

Whitetails are bedded down under a spruce tree in our back yard to ride out the 8"-14" of wet heavy snow and nasty 40mph winds predicted for today. The keen observer will see a doe with her two fawns in the pic.

It’s going to hit us tomorrow and Monday with 1 - 2 feet of snow. I think I’ll be leaving deer camp early tomorrow and I know the driving will still be terrible through Franconia Notch even if I do leave early.
