Came from the small estate of the Parker Brothers up in Bacon Hollow, noted moonshiners. One shotgun, single shot Parker Bros. .22, one fishing rod (Zebco 33, also marked Parker Bros.), one blind in one eye champion coon dog, two cast iron skillets, one feather tick, two chairs, one table. All sold as is.

Imagine that being your first introduction to Parker Bros shotguns. I’m wondering if that’s the same shop that sold Bradley his nickel plated AAHE for a song?

Well they certainly spent time and effort on the photo shoot. What’s the saying about lipstick on a pig?

My favorite part is the top rib inscription, if that's what you can call it.

I contacted the seller to advise him as to what the gun was and wasn't. He thanked me and I see he did update the listing.

This is how it started; a 1919 Hunter Arms Fulton tradename gun, prior to the very classy embellishments. The Manhattan Arms guns were marked "Superior Quality" and "For Nitro Powder"

I know. And I told him that believe me or not, the gun is what it is. A Fulton that someone stamped up as a Parker. For some reason.
He was very nice and thankful to get any info that he could on the gun.

Actually a : PARKER. BRO6.
Must have been when they were trying to economize by combining name engraving with grade designation.

Most Parker fakeup guns with logos by cold chisel have been .410 Crescent or similar guns. If you're going the cold chisel route to make a Parker, it might as well be a .410. I have also seen .410 Crescents made into L.C. Smiths, more proper since the Smith is a sidelock like a Crescent.
