If I weren't focused on 20/28 gauge guns I would be interested in this one, but for the drop points on the stock?

Flat Rib and Full comb. Rare configuration for sure. Too bad it doesn't have its original Monte Carlo stock. That would be the nuts. Letter states it was restocked at the factory on a service return.
Not sure what is up with the drop point on the one side (the only side fully visible). Looks like excessive wear done to it years ago, or taken down purposely for some reason. The wood looks to have had some cleaning up done to it, at least in the back half of the stock.

Brian the price seems very reasonable as well. Reduced price I should say.

I love the flat rib. I believe Roger Bain had that gun for sale a few years back.

I’ve handled this gun and it comes up nicely. Fits me just right. I believe Steve Barnett had the gun for sale some years back but I don’t remember the exact price.

That filing off of the drop point must have been done when it was re-checkered.
I remember when it was for sale by someone at Pintail Point quite a number of years ago, then I saw it somewhere for $9ksomething.... then another time for $8ksomething.... now it's $9K...
I have always liked that gun but for me it would have extremely limited use... so I never took the leap.
