A good buy at $5 per box out the door at a gun show over the weekend. :)

Kent Gamebore 65mm (2-1/2") Traditional Game 20-gauge shells with fiber wads and 28 grams (1-ounce) of bare #7 shot. That's right, no plastic shotcup. These British #7 pellets are very slightly larger than our #7-1/2's. Box printing states they're made for short chambered 20's that are proofed for 3 tons service pressure. That's a little shy of 9000 psi and well under our US SAAMI 20-gauge pressure max.

First pic shows the comparison with a RST 2-1/2" shell on the left.

I used rst falcon lites with #7s on grouse and wood cock in Michigan this year. I was happy with the results. They were 7/8 20 ga.

Frank, That's the exact shell currently in my game vest. You will like them.

That's a great deal you got there. I bought a case several years ago for my 2 1/2" chambered 20s. IIRC at the time when speaking with their Canadian distributor he said they were 6200 psi pressure. Gentle recoil even with a light gun. The boxes they are packaged in are so fragile and will probably fall apart right away.

edit. I just took a closer look at yours and they are a bit different than what I have. Mine are 24 gram rather than 28 gram loads so the pressures would be different.

I also use the 16 ga 2.5" gamebore. They are a bit sharper in the recoil and pressures.
