Kids Pheasant Day

Yesterday was kids pheasant day here in PA. My grandson was out with his dad and their best buddy Griz. This is grandson's last year to qualify as a kid so it was a milestone day and all three had a ball and good fortune. Grandson Seth sure likes his bird hunting and with a sxs to boot.

Congratulations to your grandson Gary. I had my grandson out yesterday at Beltsville reservoir and he bagged his first pheasant. Missed a couple but that's part of the game. We were both smiling but I know I was smiling more!

Thanks for sharing this story, I will show my grandkids this post, they will enjoy it I am sure. Our local pheasant farm had a veterans hunt that lasted 4 days. I think they let out 1500 birds, and 300 hunters if I remember correctly. I wish a lot more organizations would do kids days, what a day a young person could have, it would be a memory of a lifetime.
