I have a 1900 16 ga GH that I suspect was restocked along time ago. The stock is solid and looks correct with the correct checkering pattern. what makes me suspicious is the grade of wood is much lower on this gun than i would think would be on a GH also the https://hosting.photobucket.com/images/qq216/simcgunner/0/940caa38-03f8-4fa5-b70c-35e2a20bd889-original.jpg?width=1920&height=1080&fit=bounds (https://beta.photobucket.com/u/simcgunner/p/940caa38-03f8-4fa5-b70c-35e2a20bd889)butt plate is not a Parker it is German I think (hubertus deer on it) is the gun sn under the trigger bow on the wood?https://hosting.photobucket.com/images/qq216/simcgunner/0/e69c46b1-b256-43f0-bb67-e8e31d60a58f-original.jpg?width=1920&height=1080&fit=bounds (https://beta.photobucket.com/u/simcgunner/p/e69c46b1-b256-43f0-bb67-e8e31d60a58f)

Normally it would be stamped into the wood under the trigger guard tang.

Please show several pictures.

Allen, I don’t think the checkering pattern on your GHstock is correct. I don’t believe the GH, or any other grade with pistol grip had checkering to the end of the grip, unless , of course the grip was shortened. From the Home page, select Grades, and review the photographs showing the pistol grip. Also note that there are three points on the head end of the checkering.

Correct edgar, checkering is not correct at all. The photos are not good enough for me to give any sort of opinion on the stock itself.

I have yet to find a Parker that did not have the SN stamped under the trigger bow tang. http://parkerguns.org/forums/picture.php?albumid=905&pictureid=11952
