Arrived this way.Knew it had been repaired.Apparently done with Acraglass but no reinforcement like dowels, plywood fillet or other.Gun is solid otherwise. What next?

Are any pieces, no matter how small, missing?

Do not see any but cement covering surfaces ,it does flake off to a fingernail test so not a good bond. This stock is probably a replacement done at an old redo of the gun. This is apparently the 24th hammerless parker made. A repair of the type done with a fillet reinforced glue joint as described in Shotgun Technica (Trevellion and McIntosh) has been suggested .

Btw,the water table does not have the "E" stamp of a 10ga grade 2.I guess this is before they stamped letter grades on hammerless models.

if the glue is flaking off- i would suspect poor surface preparation/oil removal

if you want to keep and shoot it - get it to one of the pros who have a track record of solid permanent stock repairs and get a proper evaluation

I spoke with Dave at the Southern. He has around 70 guns in queue presently...

If you want an option, consider Dave Wolf in Waco Tx.
