The Foundation has received a 12 ga. Lifter to be auctioned on the Silent Auction. Mark Kircher has graciously donated a 12 ga grade 2 lifter to the Foundation. The gun is chambered
2 5/8". It has 32" barrels on a 2 frame. The barrels are full and full. Both barrels are.035 constriction.
Members of the forum that are not going to the Hall of Fame dinner may bid on this gun by emailing Jeff Kuss at jeffkuss1@gmail.com. He will bid for them the night of the Silent Auction. The minimum bid is $750.

In my humble opinion, the Lifter Action is one of the finest systems ever developed for a break open shotgun.

Has the barrel wall thickness been checked?

Jeff, will the auction be conducted the same way as the Silent Auction at our Annual Meetings, meaning, will there be a single bid sheet where bidders write their bidder number and their high bid?

Yes that is the plan. I will do the bidding for the forum bidders who aren't present.

Will there be a update to tell what the high bid is for those not there ?

I don’t think a live auction is feasible, if that’s what you’re getting at Steve.

You can give me your high bid, and I will bid up to that. That is the best I can do.

Why don't you do a sealed bid auction for those present and the mail in bids, that way all have same chance and might get a surprise high bid. Open at the meeting for all to see. I did that at a police auction, and they opened the envelopes and high
bid got it , If they didnt pick up or pay it went to next high bid
