Yup, very typical Trojan wood. My Trojan 16 ga. is Ser. No. 202066

Not too far off in number. Did they produce the same gauge in batch's, or was each shotgun acustom order?

Trojans, especially, were almost always made in batches for stock from which to fill orders primarily from hardware and sporting stores.

They did build the guns in batches but there is no general pattern. Trojans were not special order guns. They were usually ordered by dealers in large numbers and I can't say that I have ever seen one with special order features. A SST was offered for a short time and there are a few two barrel sets out there. In general they were built as described in the catalogs with about 2 3/4" drop at heel and 14" length of pull. It't hard to believe they sold for $19.00 at one time. I am still looking for that 28 gauge Trojan.

Just one, huh Mark?
Just as a teaser, what can you tell us about it?
I would suspect a 0-frame too?

I have a friend that comes in and does the local Gun Show ,he lives in Ohio ,occasionally he brings a Trojan 12 Ga.,According to the PGCA letter on the gun ,it is an original two barrel set ,and is cased and is in very nice condition !

There are two listed in the Parker Story Vol. 1 under Trojan grade. I checked both serials out and neither are 28 ga. One is a 16 and the other is a 12. As of this date, I have not seen a 28 ga. Trojan in the records. Will keep looking. I suspect there is one out there.
