I do admire Tom Brady's ability, but I can't bring myself to watch professionals paid multi-millions kneel during the National Anthem.
When the MLB players do the same, I'll quit watching them also.
I checked and it seems both teams have "kneelers." If your dogs were in the "Puppy Bowl," I would watch that.

I know. I will go with the East Coast team over a team that can't decide where to land and stay. (Cleveland, L.A., St.L,L.A. again)

Aw come on Steve. Controversy is good.
I however am at the point where I don't want my National Anthem played at professional sporting events. The players for the most part don't deserve it. and it would remove a platform/stage for those who want to make a statement.
However, I will be rooting for Tom. I love Patriots haters. Makes me love them more.

For me, it is an excuse to go to the Gun Club for the annual super bowl party / oyster roast.

Edgar, that’s not the wisest thing I’ve ever heard from you but it’s right up there with all the others. You are after all, a very wise man and I admire your wisdom.

Milo put on his jersey and has been camped out in front of the television ever since he heard the Patriots were going to the Super Bowl again.

Just curious: will it cost the Patriots more to buy off the refs against the Rams than it did against the Chiefs, or do they have the refs on retainer?
Chill, Pats fans, just kidding :). Sort of...

Phil, I think it's a toss up, remember the Rams had the refs in their back pocket too  against the Saints !

After this, there is a cry for more cameras and more time outs. NO! It has ruined the flow of the game.

And even those are horrible as of the last several years. Most are not even funny. And they are all over the internet and social media a week before the game anyway. It defeats the point.

Why not eliminate it after all we have thrown out the Pledge of Allegiance all to appease a minority of malcontents who don't either understand or appreciate what it stands for and the sacrifices made by hundreds of thousands of veterans many of which gave their lives so these few can display their ignorance in a public forum.:banghead::cuss:

If the NFL leadership had any guts they would establish a policy rule that players stand for the national anthem or remain in the locker room until the anthem is over.

Lets recap, I fell asleep before half time woke up to whatever that show was supposed to be. I didn't understand what anyone was trying to sing and what's the deal with the lead singer was he trying to do a strip tease or just real proud of all his tattoos? I thought the commercials sucked just about as bad as the half time show.

Team Ruff 59, Team Fluff 51. It was a real nail biter.:corn:

My only takeaway was that Bud Light tastes like crap because they do not use Corn Syrup. Or maybe it is some other contributing factor.

never watch sports, but I did get a kick out of a news story today - they said the guy's tattoos reminded them of the Chipolte's take out bag :rotf:

Let’s see how long it takes AB to become a distraction for the Patriot organization. But if he does play with Brady throwing and AB catching it’s gonna be a continuous source for Sports Center highlights.

Exactly. Belichek doesn’t have patience for prima donnas and AB is definitely a prima donna. The organization isn’t going to have the “patience” that Oakland did.

I think AB wanted to be a Patriot all along. It will work out. See: Randy Moss first year with the Pats. 1493 yards, broke season record for rec TD's with 23, undefeated season. Cory Dillon 1635 rushing 12 TD's, won SB.
Patriots WR last year. Won SB - Cordarrelle Patterson, Julian Edelman, Chris Hogan, Phillip Dorsett
Patriots WR this year - Antonio Brown, Julian Edelman, Josh Gordon, Demaryius Thomas, 1st round pick N'Keal Harry
STACKED!!!
